The MIA Tipi pole system is a alpine strong alloy pole frame designed for the MIA 2/3 person, 40D Silnylon Ripstop tipi tent (3KG). Designed to be a strong base camp or cook room for those hunting or camping trips where weight is an issue. It is a lighter weight hot tent option to the Westlander series. This Tipi has a Dyneema snow skirt and top cap for durability. Ideal for Tahr ballot hunting blocks, Haast and Wanaka roar ballot blocks, Alpine sambar hunting, and various other hunting, jetboating, rafting and backpack camping locations.
The pole system is a far stronger setup for fly in trips, it adds approx. 8kg to the tipi tent system but is far better in snow and wind. It also allows for more room and movement within the tent as there is no need for a center pole.
